Beyond the pub, The Pony & Trap team also offer a flexible event catering service. Run through the pub’s sister company, Food For Thought, we offer a range of services that can adapt to your event requirements.

We can deliver anything from served canapés with on-site chefs, to full waiter service celebrations; from set buffets to the unexpected. With your imagination and our creation, your event really can be everything you want it to be.

From marquees in your back garden to grand venues our team is happy to work anywhere. However we do work closely with a number of venues in the region of which we would highly recommended.
The Pony & Trap – Our very own traditional country pub! A 200 year old building set in the English countryside with spectacular views across the Chew Valley, between Bristol and Bath.
Hasell Wood, Chew Valley – In tranquil Somerset countryside, this spot offers uninterrupted views across Chew Valley Lake. A unique setting for any event and the site of our first ever Tipi ‘Pop Up’ Restaurant.
The Manor, Taunton – As one of the finest wedding venues Somerset has to offer, The Manor (a stunning 13th Century property) is the ideal venue for any wedding reception.
